Success at the university level.

Success is what we all work for. Young people attending elementary school, or high school aim for success in school. That is a great thing because they work towards their goals. But as they grow older and progress in their school they want to succeed, and many people do, but there is a difference in success at the high school level and the university level.

In high school, most people work towards their grades, attendance, and finishing high school, which is great. High school is an important experience and would help you prepare for college. You attend classes with different levels of difficulty, different types of teachers, and students with many different mindsets. However, we must continue to trudge through and make it to college.

Success at the university level is not just about getting good grades. It’s about learning the content being taught, interacting with your fellow students, communicating with the instructors, as well as getting good grades. Your grades are important because they will appear on your transcript and will be essential when other universities will be checking your transcript. You can also be eligible for certain scholarships or grants. Another time it will come in use is when you are applying for a job.

Your employers would like to know how you did in school, so they know you actually participated in class and didn’t just take the class and not learn anything. Your employers would like to know what level of education you have. If you were unable to obtain a certification or degree of some type, you would have to settle for a minimal ranged salary position.

You have to aim high and set goals for yourself. These are some things that contribute to your future in ways you might not see right away. All of these combined are what success at the university level looks like.

In this essay I will be telling you how to throw a perfect dinner party.

First, get a headcount of how many people you want to invite to your party. Based on that you would decide where you would like to host your party. It can be a banquet hall or your dining room at home, depending on how many people are attending. You would then make arrangements for decorations, like place mats, seat covers, a runner, and maybe a vase with flowers. Then you can put a spoon, fork, and knife rolled in a napkin.

Next you would make arrangements for food. You have to get a little extra because you don’t want to fall short. You should have a appetizer because people may enjoy munching on something, while waiting for all the guest to arrive. A few good choices may be carrots and ranch, or chips and dip.

The next thing you would do is arrange a meal. You should always keep a few different options, in case someone may not like something. There are multiple different options for meals, you just have to decide what kind of food you want. The last thing is the dessert. Most people like to have dessert after their meal. You can choose your dessert based on your meal. If you have an Italian meal you can have Italian dessert. That would be a great way to end your dinner party.

When I was registering for this class, I was registering with the intent of learning how to properly write English, and be able to express my self. I was concerned about how the teacher would be. If he would be strict and boring, or fun and easygoing. If there would be a lot of homework, or classwork.

On my first day, I was very surprised, my teacher was very nice, he was easygoing, and best of all he was not boring. I began to think this would be a fun class after all. There wasn’t too much homework or classwork, and there weren’t too many people in the class.

I definitely think this class was amazing. I learned a lot, and had a great experience. I feel like my writing got much better, and I can write a proper essay now. I was surprised that there was so much content covered but I was able to keep up for the most part, but what surprised me most, was that I did not know I can write so much in such less time. This was a perfect class and I like it just as it is.

This essay is about why my father moved to America. My dad moved here from India in the year of 1999, for a better life. There weren’t that many opportunities for work in India. When my dad moved here he started working odd jobs. He started his family, and worked hard to move forward in life and support his family. After working for a few years, he took a course in IT. Soon he got a job in that field, and he has been working in that field since. He hasn’t stayed at the same job though. He always looked for ways to excel in his field. He took courses and got better positions.

He has came a long way from when he used to live in India. He was aware of the challenges he would face, and the chances to explore different career opportunities. He knew he would have to work hard because it was a completely different lifestyle, and his decisions, would make a significant difference in his future. In India he didn’t have a set vision or goal in life. He did not have guidance in education or future planning. Due to a lack of resources and opportunities he decided to move to America. The quality of his life changed drastically, and his financial status had improved compared to when he was in India. So he was able to support his family back home as well as here.

This essay is about the effect of earthquakes. Earthquakes can cause a lot of damage. However, there are levels of an earthquakes severity. There are many effects of an earthquake, and I will be discussing a few of them.

Some of the effects are a tsunami, flooding, loss of life, and damage to buildings. A tsunami can occur if the plates under the ocean move suddenly. This causes high tides and can lead to flooding, which can wipe out peoples homes and also people themselves. It can also start fires, and gas leaks. This happens often during earthquakes.

This essay is about three causes which resulted in me catching a cold. I always used to think I knew everything and had everything figured out. The truth is that I didn’t. People always warned me about things, but I did not take their advice seriously.

Once when I was going to downtown Chicago with my father, and my mother told me to take a sweater, warning me that it would be cold. I did not feel cold at the moment and decided I will be fine. So I went without it and soon realized my mother was right. It was cold because we were close to Lake Michigan. Later on, during the day, it also started raining. I came back home cold and wet. The worst part was that I woke up the next day with a bad cold. Since then I have learned my lesson and take whatever advice my mother has to offer very seriously, knowing she is always right.

Two classes I am taking right now are Chemistry and English. They both have a lot in common, but some major differences may make you think one is better than the other. For example, they are completely different subjects, one may be used in everything you do and the other may not. English is very simple, and Chemistry is more complex.

Chemistry is a science subject and has to do with molecules and atoms. This subject is used in many fields that are related to science. Scientists and doctors use this very often. English, on the other hand, is the study of English grammar. English is very important because it is used for everything. Everyone uses English in their daily lives. It is used in all different fields and subjects. It is even taught in foreign countries. I like English more than Chemistry because, it has less homework, and it is easier. Chemistry involves a lot of homework whereas English does not have as much. It’s also very easy for people from other countries to learn as well. Their languages have many more parts and rules than ours does.

I have been learning English since preschool, and have learned grammar and punctuation. This makes it easier to learn because all I am doing is adding on to what I already know. It’s just learning how to write, but at a college level. Chemistry is hard because I haven’t learned that much in science. Chemistry also requires a student to know algebra which I have not yet finished.

Overall, they are both interesting subjects, but if I had to choose between them, I would choose English. It has less homework, it is not as hard, it is more fun, and most of all it is more important.

We all know education is a long road and we will be taking classes for many years, and throughout your life you will take many classes. This essay is about two classes I am currently taking. I have great teachers for both classes. One is a writing class for high school and the other is an English class I am taking for college. I will be stating the similarities and differences in these classes, like the workload, timings, and how I submit my homework.

For my first class, which is Writing II, the workload is very heavy. My teacher assigns a lot of homework. She assigns essays, research papers, and writing exercises. In my second class, my English teacher assigns homework, but not as much as my writing teacher. For my English class I post my homework and class work on a website online, and for my writing class I send it to my teacher.

The length of my classes are very different. My writing class is almost thirty minutes long, on the other hand, my English class is about two hours long. This is because my English class covers much more content than my writing class, in a very short amount of time.

In my writing class we learn more writing than actual grammar, but in my English class we learn both. They are both teaching me to be a better writer, so I can write without making simple grammar mistakes.

Overall both classes are very similar in their workload and content, but they are different in the length of the class and amount of work assigned.

Chicago is often known as the Windy City, for obvious reasons. However, this place is close to my heart because I was born and raised in the city of Chicago. Chicago is one of the most diverse cities by being a home to people of various cultures, religions, and backgrounds. There are many different kinds of foods. There are also many opportunities to learn.

There are plenty of good things about Chicago. It is a very diverse city and has plenty of opportunities to learn. However, it is not the best city, because of quite a few reasons. Some of them are crimes, racism, corruption, taxes, and the weather. These are things that people dislike about Chicago.

Taxes are another drawback in Chicago. The taxes on everything are very high. Chicago holds the title for the highest tax rates in the nation. People try to shop online or in the suburbs to avoid paying extra taxes. Another factor is the weather.

The weather in Chicago during the winter is cold and very windy. The average temperature in the winter is 22° degrees Fahrenheit. This becomes hard for people because, their cars may not start, and their windows can freeze up. Others get sick in cold weather.

Chicago has many great schools, colleges, and universities. There are many opportunities for learning in many different schools. If you want to change majors or start a new one there is a chance for you. People travel from all over the world to study at colleges and universities in Chicago, such as Northwestern University, and Loyola University. That is what makes Chicago such a diverse place.

When people from different countries and different walks of life come to one place to learn and prosper in the world, they can educate others about their religion, culture, and different backgrounds. We can learn their language, their way of living, and how they cook. Their food tastes different. For example, Indian food may be a little spicier than American food. People may not know exactly how it tastes until they try it themselves.

Now that there are many diverse communities, there are many options for food. There is Authentic Indian, Middle Eastern, Italian, Greek, and Chinese food readily available for anyone who wants to try something new or eat their traditional food. I think it’s great to have such good food without having to go all the way to that country. There are places in Chicago, where there are streets lined with many restaurants of one cuisine.

That is why I like Chicago. I feel there is everything I need there. Aside from the bad things about Chicago, it is an ideal place to live. The food, the people, and the diversity are all a big part in making Chicago the place it is.
